# Usage policy

Rules for using, editing and sharing FM Shop resources.

This policy explains what you can and cannot do with the resources you get from FM Shop.

**In short:** you may use, and where allowed edit, the resources you bought legitimately. **We do not allow redistribution of any kind.**

## Legitimate purchases only

A resource may be used and edited only if you obtained it **legitimately**:

* you bought it on [fm-shop.it](https://www.fm-shop.it) and it was granted to your Cfx.re account through the Cfx.re Portal, or
* it is unlocked by your active [All Maps Access](https://fm-shop.gitbook.io/fm-shop-docs/products/all-maps-access) subscription.

Resources obtained in any other way (files shared by other people, leaks, resale, third-party download sites) are not covered by this policy and must not be used.

## What you can do

* **Use** the resource on your FiveM server. Players joining your server and seeing the map is normal use.
* **Edit** the parts that the resource allows. Editing is allowed **only for resources that say so**: textures and signs where the **Editable** row of the product page lists them. See [Editing and customization](https://fm-shop.gitbook.io/fm-shop-docs/products/editing-and-customization).

## What is not allowed

We do **not** allow the distribution of our resources in any form. This includes, for example:

* sharing the files, or any part of them, with anyone else;
* uploading them anywhere (Discord, forums, file hosting, cloud storage, leak websites, marketplaces);
* selling, reselling, trading or giving them away, alone or inside a pack or another product;
* handing them to players, friends, other servers or other server owners;
* publishing or sharing **edited** versions. Editing a resource does not give you the right to share it;
* extracting and sharing textures, models or other assets contained in the resource.

Running the resource on your own server is normal use. Giving the **files** to somebody else is not.

## Edited versions

Modified versions follow exactly the same rules as the original: use them only if you bought the original legitimately, and never distribute them.
