# Buying guide

Step-by-step guide to buying a map on fm-shop.it.

This page explains the whole purchase flow, from logging in to the payment.

## Before you start

You need two accounts:

| Account     | Why it is needed                                                                                                   |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Discord** | Identifies you and gives you your exclusive role on the FM Shop Discord server. It is required for every purchase. |
| **Cfx.re**  | Your purchase is delivered to your Cfx.re account through the Cfx.re Portal.                                       |

Use the **Cfx.re account you want to receive the resource on**. The resource is granted to the account you log in with. If you logged in with the wrong one, contact support before doing anything else.

### Log in with Discord

Use the **Login** button at the top right of the website and choose **Discord**. If you try to add a product without being logged in with Discord, the website will ask you to log in first.

### Log in with Cfx.re

The first time you add a product to the cart, you are sent to the Cfx.re login. After you confirm, you return to the website and the product is added automatically.

### Add products to the cart

Click **Add to cart** on a product card or on the product page. A confirmation appears with a **View cart** button. If Tebex refuses a product, it is not added and you see an error message.

### Review your cart

Open the cart from the icon at the top right. For each item you see the current price and, when there is a discount, the full price crossed out. The order summary shows:

* **Original price** - the sum of the full prices.
* **Discount** - the total saved, including any coupon.
* **Subtotal** - the price after the discount.
* **Tax** - calculated by Tebex according to your country. It can be 0 for some countries.
* **Total** - what you pay.

### Use a discount code (optional)

Type your code in the **Discount code** field and press **Apply**. Codes are announced on our Discord server. The current code is also shown in the banner at the top of the Products page.

### Proceed to checkout

Click **Proceed to checkout**. The Tebex payment window opens on top of the website.

### Pay

Enter your email, choose a payment method and confirm. When the payment completes you are taken to the order confirmation page.

## Payment methods

Payments are processed by **Tebex**. Depending on your country you can pay with:

* Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express)
* Google Pay
* PayPal
* PaysafeCard
* Other methods shown under **More Payment Methods**

Tebex is the seller and merchant of record. Payment details are entered only in the Tebex window, never on fm-shop.it.

## Prices and currency

Prices on the website are shown in **EUR**. Tebex can apply regional pricing, so the final price and currency shown in the payment window may differ according to your country.

## Coupons, gift cards and creator codes

The Tebex payment window also has fields for a **Coupon/Gift Card** and a **Creator Code**. Use them there if you have one.
